Luscious Lemon Bars

It's lemon season at the Farmers Market and we have the best lemon bar recipe to use when you're ready for some tang.

Ingredients:

Crust 

  • 2 cups Flour
  • 1/2 cup Powdered Sugar
  • 1 cup Butter (melted)
  • 1 tsp Salt

Filling 

  • 2 Cups of Sugar 
  • 4 tbsp Flour
  • 1 tsp Baking Powder
  • 1/2 cup Lemon Juice 
  • 4 eggs - beaten 

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Mix all ingredients for the crust together and add to a 9x13 pan. Bake for 15-20 minutes, until golden brown. 

While crust is baking, mix all filling ingredients together. Pour over baked crust and bake for 25 minutes. 

After you pull the bars out of the oven, sprinkle with powdered sugar.
