TOP FIVE THINGS TO DO IN NOVEMBER

Fall is here and the holidays are near! Check out all the fun things to do in Concord this month:

1. Rock the Rink

Get your holiday groove on at Ice at the Veranda, November 5 through February 14. The popular outdoor skating rink located in the heart of The Veranda shopping center offers frosty, nostalgic fun for all ages.

2. Toast the Holidays

Visit Concord's Elaine Schroth invites you to the Visitor Center for special holiday events

The Concord Visitor Center is celebrating the holidays with a series of special events throughout November and December. Come join us for some holiday cheer and special deals on the best Concord-themed gifts for everyone on your list.

3. Support Small Business Saturday

Why sweat long lines and supply chain disruptions when you can shop small and local? In honor of Small Business Saturday on November 27, the Concord Art Association will hold their Holiday Pop-Up Art & Craft Show at the Salvio Pacheco Square building courtyard from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. The Visitor Center will be open and celebrating as well. It’s the perfect time to find unique, handcrafted gifts and support local merchants & artisans.

4. Escape with a Backyard Fall Adventure

Looking for a scenic outdoor walk or ride? Concord has trails galore to climb & explore and the crisp fall air and golden foliage makes it that much better.  Hike or bike your way up Mount Diablo or any of the trails at Lime Ridge Open SpaceIron Horse Trail or Contra Costa Canal. It’s an easy way to connect with nature and clear your head.

5. To Flock or Not to Flock?

You can almost smell the fresh pine from here! Concord’s fabulous ABC Farms Christmas tree lot will be open starting November 20. Go early for the best selection and start your holidays off right. Find them at 1765 Galindo Street, 10 a.m. – 9 p.m. Monday through Friday, and 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Saturday & Sunday.
