After more than a year of public gatherings and non-essential business travel being restricted in California, I am excited to see that smaller group meetings, in-person events and tradeshows have begun to release their guidelines and set dates for their upcoming events.
Concord’s hotels are ideally suited for smaller events in the 10 to 300 attendee range, we consider this shift a big opportunity. Meeting planners will also likely put more emphasis on easy access to open spaces and outdoor recreation, another advantage Concord can offer.
During this past year, our team considered what sales tools would be of most value when the meetings & events market started to rebound, and launched several new initiatives. With the recent debut of our Meeting Planner Guide, Meeting Planner Video, Sports Guide & Sports Video, Concord is the ideal destination for those seeking “Space to Meet and Room to Explore.” I look forward to getting back out there and bringing meetings and events back to Concord in the coming months.
