Child Abuse Prevention Council

The mission of the Child Abuse Prevention Council (CAPC) is to promote the safety of children and prevent child abuse and neglect in Contra Costa County by raising awareness, influencing public policy, educating our community and providing resources and support programs to families.

Programs include: Surviving Parenthood Resource Directory; Nurturing Parenting Parent Education Programs, Community Education; Mandated Reporter Training; Speak Up Be Safe Child Safety Program; Parent Partner Mentor Program; Youth Mentor Program; Baby Bag Project; and the Sue Fleischer Special Needs Fund.
