Best RV & Camping Locations in Concord

Living or visiting Concord means you’re moments away from escaping civilization for a camping trip that checks all the boxes on Mount Diablo.

Mount Diablo’s views are incomparable. From the peak you can see up to 200 miles away! Here you can hike, bike or ride horses on one of the many trails. Dogs are welcome on leashes but not on the trails. Sites are equipped with fire pits or grills, picnic tables, and access to toilets. Showers and drinking water are available except during droughts.

Here is a list of our favorite camping sites:

Juniper Campground ~ 3,000 FEET

This is the largest campground with 36 campsites. Named for the surrounding Juniper trees, the views on the western side are a camper’s delight.
