Join the 2024 Summer Bike Challenge!

The Summer Bike Challenge will get you outside and on the move. Throughout summer, you’ll bike to points of interest featured on your city’s gameboard, visit our in-person prize events, and share your pictures in our online Photo Gallery.

Weekly Bonus Prize drawings and an iPad Grand Prize add to the fun. The Summer Bike Challenge is free, fun, and healthy – the perfect summertime activity for people of all ages.

How it works:

• Register & play for free! You’ll be entered in the iPad Grand Prize drawing.
• Select your city and download your gameboard.
• Bike to as many squares as you can June-August. Can’t bike to certain Squares? Substitute any square with a bikeable destination of your choice.
• Collect prizes at in-person events, and find details on your gameboard.
• Complete Weekly Bike Ride Challenges, sent to your inbox, for chances to win extra prizes every week. (Opt-in for these emails on the Summer Bike Challenge registration form.)

The Summer Youth Pass is a three-month bus pass that gives kids a great way to get around town, all summer long. Empower your kids to get to their summer school classes or to their part-time jobs on their own. Give them the freedom and independence to visit their friends, go shopping, or get to BART without a ride from parents or caregivers. For an affordable, discounted price of just $30, passholders ages 6-18 can take unlimited bus rides on Tri Delta Transit, County Connection, and WestCat from June through August.
