Concord Taco Trail: Take the Challenge
Concord's Taco Trail is a self-guided adventure featuring family-owned taquerias and restaurants across the city. Grab a card, hit the trail, and see how many stops you can check off.
How To Participate
1. Grab Your Taco Challenge Card: Pick up a free Taco Trail Challenge card and map at the Concord Visitor's Center or any participating restaurant
2. Start the Challenge: Visit as many taquerias as you can during the Concord Taco Trail campaign, running September 15 - October 15, 2026.
3. Eat Tacos, Earn Stickers, Win Prizes: Collect a sticker at each location you visit. The person with the most stickers by the end of the challenge is crowned the Taco Trail Champion and takes home a $250 taco party and taco-themed swag.
Cast Your Vote
Your visit counts toward two more fun titles: Fan Favorite Taqueria, awarded to the restaurant with the most visits, and Best Salsa. Cast your votes by emailing programs@visitconcordca.com.
Kick-Off Party
Join us at Los Montanas on Friday, September 11, 2026, for mariachi music, free tacos, and a beverage to kick off the fun!
Winners Announced
The Taco Trail Champion, Fan Favorite Taqueria, and Best Salsa will all be announced on Friday, October 16, 2026.
