If you’ve never been to Benihana, you have to try it; if you know about them already, the Concord restaurant is one of the larger, well-run full-service locations you could ever want. The heart of the Benihana experience is their teppanyaki cooking style: The group (because it’s best experienced as a larger party) sits on tall chairs around three sides of a big table, the center of which is a steel cooking surface. The chef prepares beef, chicken, shrimp — whatever the order — with a flourish of knives, spatulas and props while he keeps up a patter of jokes, puns and comments. Tremendous fun!

Diners also have the option of enjoying the sushi bar. Express lunches (for quick weekday meals), to-go orders and Kabuki Kids birthday meals for children 12 and younger are also available.
