Epidemic Ales

Epidemic Ales is proof that great beer exists outside of the big city. From home brewing in the back yard to opening their taproom in 2016, the partners behind Epidemic Ales are driven by a passion for brewing and sharing it with their fellow beer fans.

Whether you’re a beer novice or aficionado, you will find a tempting brew for any palate at Epidemic Ales — light to dark, fruity to hoppy to malty and everything in between. We recommend trying Nightshade, a bourbon barrel-aged vanilla stout made with real vanilla beans. It’s a must try — and one of their most popular beers.

A true gem to be discovered in the East Bay, Epidemic Ales’ 5,000 square foot facility is tucked away in Concord’s industrial park and offers something for the whole family. With a room built just for kids, adultscan enjoy a little quiet time to catch up with friends or relax after a long week. Guests can enjoy a game ofgiant Jenga or catch the big game on the projection screen. And if you needed another reason to visit: the taproom is dog-friendly.

As brewers before business owners, the minds behind Epidemic Ales truly care about the beer-loving community. They love talking about the flavors of their brews as well as the process of brewing with guests. Make your way to this burgeoning brewery to sample the latest beers with a beer flight or stock up on your favorites with bottles and growler fills to go. They even honor outside growlers.
