EAT

Concord is home to over 350 restaurants offering tastes from around the world perfect for pleasing the palates of everyone in your group.

Concord’s popular Peruvian restaurant, Lima offers exotic cocktails and unconventional cuisine. Every dish is made from scratch by award-winning Chef John Marquez and crafted using unforgettable Peruvian flavors. Reservations are available and walk-ins are welcome.

STIX Eatery serves up deliciously spicy Thai fare. Open daily, they offer a variety of dishes — rice bowls and grilled skewers to noodle dishes and fresh salads. Groups can choose to order individually or taste it all by sharing family-style.

Additional local favorites include: Tortilleria El Molino, a good spot for grab-and-go Mexican cuisine; Poke Salad, where you can build your own perfect lunch with fresh fish and other fixings; and The Mediterranean, which offers dine-in, pick-up and takeout dishes with a Mediterranean flair. A true taste of Concord can be found at Patty’s Original Cheese Zombies. Their renowned, cheesy pastry is a must-try.

DRINK

For the beer-lovers in the group, exploring the Concord Beer Trail is a great way to see downtown Concord and enjoy some local suds. The trail begins at The Hop Grenade, where guests can enjoy 21 rotating taps, small bites and an outdoor patio (heated during those cold nights). From here, take a short walk down Salvio Street to E.J. Phair Brewing Company, where they have dozens of drafts as well as bottled craft beer. Next, take an Uber or Lyft to Concord Tap House for 24 rotating craft beer taps with a focus on local and Pacific coast breweries. The trail concludes at Epidemic Ales, where you’ll top off the night with bold brews and taster flights.

If wine is more your fancy, check out Plate & Vine inside Hilton Concord. Plate & Vine has an impressive wine selection full of selections from nearby Napa and Sonoma Valleys. The restaurant offers $4 glasses during happy hour and carefully curated wine flights. If you’re downtown try Luna Ristorante where you can pair their delicious bruschetta with something from their impressive wine list. Residual Sugar promises an experience that’s personal and never intimidating. They offer wine from Spain, France, Italy, Greece and Austria.
