A short 21-mile trip from the airport, Oakland is a viable option for those looking for a shorter trip. While rush hour traffic is undeniable, travelers can save their money for a Concord shopping excurison and take the BART for under $20 and stop at either of Diablo Valley's two BART stations. Uber is the next best bang for your buck and cuts your travel time in half.

Concord's Buchanan Field Airport offers commercial flight services to and from the Los Angeles, California, area and Las Vegas, Nevada. Flights connect Concord to Bob Hope Airport in Burbank, California, every weekday with three daily one-way flights operated by private airline JetSuite. Flights to Las Vegas occur once every Friday with one return flight to Concord on Sunday afternoon.
