The Concord Police Association is honored to present the 10th Annual Stars & Stripes 5K Run & Walk on Thursday, July 4th.


6:30 am–7:30 am: Late 5K bib pick-up. Registration (if not sold out before race day).

6:30 am–7:30am: Kids Fun Run sign-up available. Free for kids ages 10 and under, parents just sign a waiver on race morning.

8:00 am: Kids Fun Run with Stomper!

8:10 am: National Anthem

8:15am: Start of 5K Run and Walk

Proceeds from this race benefit Shelter, Inc., a local nonprofit that is working to prevent and end homelessness in Contra Costa County. Read More

You are invited to “Celebrate Concord…Family, Community and Business!”

Get a good seat along the parade route. This year's theme is "All that Jazz". So cheer loudly for your favorite entry and let the parade participants know how much you enjoy their performance. The winners will be judged and announced by the Concord City Council at a future council meeting.

This annual event will welcome over 20,000 people for our hometown festivities. The Concord 4th of July Celebration brings together residents of Concord and neighboring cities for a truly memorable experience.

Come out and enjoy Concord's Home Town Picnic, starting at 4pm the gates will open for the 6th Annual 4th of July Festival with a kids carnival, food and vendor booths, and local artist exhibit. Live entertainment on stage will start at 5pm with the Air Force Band, and The Big Jangle - A Tribute to Tom Petty and all things Jangly. Admission is free. Read More
